Rules:
Short Royal This is a series of small ground targets. Pick up the thicker pool noodles( approx 3in diameter), then cut them into 10 inch pieces. One noodle will make 5 pieces which is enough for one person throughout this shoot. Targets: In all cases the pieces are laying flat on the ground, not standing up in any way. Horizontal refers to the piece laying across the range, meaning you have a visually short but wide target. Vertical refers to the piece laying lengthwise down the range, meaning one end is facing you the other down range making a visually tall narrow target. Hitting two pieces with one arrow never counts, each piece must be uniquely hit with its own arrow, I suggest staggering the pieces left and right a bit so hitting or missing one does not make the arrow hit another farther back. For all ends the first piece is 3 yards from the shooting line, with each piece spaced 1 yard farther back, making the fifth and last piece at 8 yards. Arrows must stick or make the piece significantly move, just a graze or wiggle is not good enough. to count as a hit Ends: For the Horizontal and Vertical ends you have 7 arrows to hit the 5 piece, each piece may only be hit once for 5 points each. Max score 25. For the "Timed" Horizontal and Vertical ends, like the Long Range Royal it is "How long does it take you to hit all five pieces?" Like before the marshal may call "Hit" and "Miss" after each arrow (but not high, low, or other spotting directions). The score is 60 seconds minus the time it took. For Example if it took 35 seconds to hit all five pieces the score would be 25. You may not score less than zero.
